How exactly did I start my business and how well did it do from the beginning?
Let me tell you!
I started with 10 products only! It’s important to remember to build your collection over time, you don’t need to have lots of products to launch.
I personally wanted 10 before I launched so that’s what I created and made sure I wouldn’t launch until I had that number.
I made sure I had different types of products, some about MRR, some just design templates etc and it grew from there!
I didn’t have my email marketing set up until the middle of October, so these results are all based off Facebook Ads.
My first week 12th Sept - 17th Sept - LAUNCH WEEK
Total sales for that week - $1,130.66
Ad Spend $50 per day = $300 for the week (6 days)
Profit for the week $830

See how my revenue dropped - I didn't sell a shop bundle this week (and that's ok) Higher price points won't sell as frequently as lower price points but when they do sell it's amazing!
Month 1 - RECAP
Total Revenue - $5,053.83
Total Ad Spend = $950
Profit = $4,103
The biggest thing I did in the first month was every single dollar of profit I made, I spent this on the business. Increase ad spend, new website design (I launched with a free Shopify Theme) then invested into a premium theme which is my website now.
Just a reminder, my advice is it's not about having it all figured out to begin with, use what you have.
1 WEEK TO GO - this is telling people something is coming and launch soon! ON SOCIALS - Talk about the features etc but not giving away what it is. Tell people you are nearly finished it and can't wait to share it with everyone!
Few days later - Show the front cover or a glimpse of what it is on socials - this is the teaser! Tell them to keep an eye on their emails to see what it is. Email people the full images and tell them when it will go live (this should be a few days later)
This is how you launch a new product! Create hype and this is how successful launches of new products work, creating hype before it's released! Try it and let me know how you go!
